Terms of service.
These terms apply to the production of an evening by our crew. They are restated, completed and signed in the written offer, which prevails in case of difference.
1. What the service is
We produce a themed evening or a team game in a place provided by the client: kit delivered, built, hosted by our crew, then struck. The service is a production service. It includes no gambling, no stake and no gain of patrimonial value.
2. Enquiry, offer and order
An enquiry sent through the form on this site is not a booking and holds no date. We answer with a written offer stating availability, contents, build hours and the final amount.
The order is formed when the offer is signed and the deposit is paid. The date is held from that moment, not before.
3. Price and payment
Prices published on this site are starting prices per evening, applicable taxes included. They cover the whole event and are not multiplied by the number of guests. A turnout smaller than planned does not reduce the price, because the kit and the crew are already booked.
The hours quoted are programme hours with guests in the room: build and strike are added on top and are written into every package.
Payment: a 35 % deposit on signature, the balance within fifteen days of the evening, against an invoice. Anything added after signature is costed in writing before it is carried out.
4. Cancellation and postponement
- Cancelled more than 30 days before the date: the deposit is refunded, less costs already incurred and evidenced.
- Cancelled 30 to 8 days before the date: the deposit is retained.
- Cancelled less than 8 days before the date: the deposit is retained and crew costs already scheduled are invoiced.
- Postponed to a free date, requested more than 14 days ahead: the deposit transfers once, at no charge.
- If we have to cancel for our own reasons, the deposit is refunded in full and we propose a replacement date.
5. Force majeure and open-air formats
In an event outside our control — an official weather warning, a general power failure, an administrative closure of the venue — we switch where possible to the fallback written into the offer, with no postponement charge. For open-air formats, a fallback plan is written into the offer before signature.
6. The client\'s obligations
- Provide the place, its permissions, heating, security, access and parking as described in the offer.
- Provide food, drink, table service and, where applicable, the liquor licence.
- Guarantee access to the room at the agreed build and strike hours.
- Enforce the 18-and-over limit at the tables and the cabinets.
- Name one person reachable on site throughout the evening.
7. Kit, damage and safety
The kit remains our property. The client is responsible for damage caused by guests beyond normal wear, on the basis of a written note made on the night.
Our crew may stop a gaming station or an activity for safety reasons, informing the person named by the client.
8. Liability
We are liable for direct damage caused by our crew or our kit, up to the amount of the order. We are not liable for indirect damage, nor for failures attributable to the venue, the caterer or another supplier chosen by the client.
9. Images and references
We do not photograph your evening without written agreement, and we publish no image, no organisation name and no testimonial without your prior authorisation.
10. Applicable law and disputes
The contract is governed by the law applicable in Quebec and in Canada. In a dispute, we first look for a written settlement between the parties; failing that, the matter goes before the competent courts of the place of our establishment.
