Free Play Cabinets

Equipment added to a format

Three rental cabinets on free play, added alongside any format in the catalogue. Each cabinet runs on its own internal credit balance: the coin mechanisms and bill validators have been removed, so a guest puts nothing in and takes nothing out. Two of the three are mechanical, with metal reels and a side lever — slots in the original sense of the word.

What the package contains

  • 3 cabinets, 180 x 60 x 70 cm, 95 kg each
  • 2 mechanical reel-and-lever cabinets, 1 screen cabinet
  • internal credit balance set at build time, no paid top-up
  • coin mechanisms and bill validators removed and sealed
  • 120 V, 3.5 A per cabinet, a dedicated socket required
  • 1 technician at the build and 1 check during the evening
  • transport within 150 km of Tadoussac

Adjustable at no extra cost. Within the price: the number of cabinets (1 to 3), where they stand in the room, how long they stay, and the starting credit balance.

Three rental cabinets lined up against a plain wall: two mechanical reel-and-lever cabinets and one screen cabinet, fronts with no coin slot.
  • Guests up to 100
  • Programme 6 h, build extra
  • Price From $2,350
  • Planning range $2,350 – $3,400

How it runs

Three tables, one room, one standing.

  1. 01

Tables arrive flat-packed and go exactly where your floor plan says: allow 6 m² per table, service aisle included.

  2. 02

Each dealer opens the table with a one-minute explanation, then stays on station. Nobody needs to know the rules beforehand.

  3. 03

Chips are handed out in equal stacks at the start and are never topped up. At the end, the difference in chips becomes a points standing, read out loud.

Venue requirements

What it takes to build.

  • 6 m² per gaming table, 1.2 m service aisle between rows
  • 2.4 m clear height, house lighting that can be dimmed or switched off
  • One 15 A circuit for the stage lighting, a second one for the cabinets
  • Step-free access or a lift of at least 1.4 x 1.1 m for the tables

The hours of each format are evening hours with guests in the room; build and strike are extra and appear in the package contents.

What this is, and what it is not

Props. Not a game.

  • Our evenings happen offline, in the room you have booked. You are paying for the production of an evening, not for a game.
  • Chips and credits are props. They cannot be bought, cannot be topped up, and cannot be exchanged for anything: not money, not goods, not vouchers, not prizes of value.
  • There are no stakes and no cash winnings. We run no online gambling service and promote none.
  • Access to the tables and the cabinets is limited to people aged 18 and over.

Questions

What people ask first.

Can guests buy chips?

No. Chips are handed out in equal stacks at the start and are never topped up. They cannot be bought and cannot be exchanged for anything: not money, not goods, not vouchers, not prizes of value. There is no stake and no cash winnings, and we run no online gambling service. The evening ends on a standing in points. Access is limited to people aged 18 and over.

How many dealers for a hundred guests?

An eight-seat table occupies one dealer. For a hundred guests, four tables and four dealers keep the pace if the evening also includes a meal or music; with nothing else running, we recommend six tables.

Can the cabinets be added to another format?

Yes. The Free Play Cabinets can stand alongside any format in the catalogue, including outside this family. They are charged separately and need one dedicated socket each.

Send us the date. We send the price.
