1. Who is responsible

2. Applicable law

Our business is established in Quebec, Canada. The personal information we collect in the course of our commercial activity is protected by the federal Canadian legislation on the protection of personal information in the private sector (PIPEDA) and by the Quebec legislation on the protection of personal information in the private sector, as modernised in 2021.

The competent supervisory authorities are the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for the federal side, and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec for the provincial side. You can complain to either, depending on the situation.

3. What we collect

Through the enquiry form: first and last name, organisation (optional), email address, phone number, the format of evening you want, the preferred date, the town or venue, the number of guests, a budget range (optional), any details you write, confirmation that participants will be 18 or over, confirmation that you understand there is no gambling, and an optional agreement to receive our catalogue news.

Technically, the server also records the date and time of each submission and the page it came from. A submission log is kept outside the web root of the site.

We collect no sensitive data and never ask for payment details through this site.

4. Purposes and grounds

• Answering your enquiry and preparing a written offer. Ground: your request and our legitimate interest in replying to it.
• Performing the contract if the evening is confirmed: production, invoicing, accounting obligations.
• Sending catalogue news, once or twice a year. Ground: your consent, withdrawable at any time through a link in every message.
• Form security: session token, honeypot, timestamp, to screen out automated submissions. Ground: our legitimate interest.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries with no follow-up: 24 months after the last exchange. Files for events that took place: for as long as accounting and tax obligations require, then deleted. Technical submission log: 12 months. An address subscribed to our news: until you withdraw consent.

6. Who has access

Internally: the people who prepare the offer and produce the evening. Externally: our hosting provider and our mail provider, acting on our instructions, and our accountant for invoicing records.

We do not sell your data, we do not trade it and we do not use it for advertising targeting.

7. Cookies and measurement

This site loads no measurement or advertising tag before your choice, and the delivered build contains no such tag at all. One technical cookie stores your decision about cookies. The detail is in our cookie policy.

If audience measurement or a Google advertising campaign is switched on later, the applicable rules are Google's: policies.google.com — partner sites and business.safety.google — privacy.

8. Your rights

• Access to your information and a copy of it.
• Correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Deletion, where keeping it is no longer necessary or required by law.
• Withdrawal of consent to our mailings, at any time.
• A complaint to the competent supervisory authority.

Write to us: we answer within 30 days. If we cannot act on a request, we explain why in writing.

9. Security

The form is protected by a session token, a field hidden in CSS and a submission-delay check. Everything printed back is escaped. Access to the inboxes and to the submission log is limited to the people who need it.

10. Changes

Any change to this document is published on this page with a new update date. Previous versions are kept internally.
